My advice for the beginner is do not think that you are going to make thousands right away, depending on how much time you put into making money on the internet - it could take years until you have a steady stream of income coming your way. You can expect to put in a lot of work the first 6 months and see nothing in return.

This is normal as you must understand that links take time to show up and count. The best thing that you can do is build sites - get a couple hundred or thousand links - and move on to the next site. Diversity is the key when making money on the internet - as you should never rely on just one affiliate to put food on the table - as you could get dumped by them - then you will have nothing.
