Search Engine Optimization and Making Money on the Internet

Search engine optimization, also know as (SEO) is the process of a site ranking high in a search engine. There are two types of search engine optimization, and if they are mastered, then your site will be ranked the highest in the search engines. The two types are onsite optimization and offsite optimization. This post I will be discussing onsite search engine optimization.

Onsite Optimization - This consists of how a search engine spider or bot sees the content on your page. There are many factors that come into play, mainly the use of the keywords you are trying to target. The part of onsite optimization that plays the biggest role is the url itself, so when you are purchasing a new domain name make sure that it has at least one of the keywords you are trying to target. For example if you wanted to put your business on the web, and your store specialized in selling golf clubs, you would want the words “golf clubs” somewhere in the URL for maximum onsite seo.
